Sales experience

Five years of carrying a number

Volume at 1-800-GOT-JUNK. Full-cycle at two startups. AI sales at CoPilot AI. Founder-led sales at my own agency. Two case studies below, with the numbers.

Case study · 2021 – 2022

1-800-GOT-JUNK: $1.44M closed, 123% to target

The system I built behind the jump: large-estimate tracking

Nobody asked for this system. I saw the problem, built the fix myself, and the green line on the chart marks the month it went live.

  1. Problem. $30K to $50K deals, 30-truck office clean-outs, school clear-outs, multi-day jobs, sat in the same CRM bucket as one-truck removals. They got lost in the shuffle of small leads, and they were the lion's share of the monthly target.
  2. Solution. I built a Google Sheet that gave large estimates their own environment: company, contact, deal size, and a custom pipeline where each completed stage got a dated green cell, a progress bar toward Deal Won. Big deals got daily follow-up until a decision was made.
  3. Outcome. Monthly revenue jumped from a ~$77K average in the six months before to ~$110K after, up 43%. March 2022 was my first $100K month at 190% of target, and four of the last six months cleared $100K.

Why it matters: this was 2022, before I could code the fix. Same instinct as every build on this site: see where deals die, build a system, work the system daily. The tooling got better. The habit is ten years old.

CoPilot AI: $88K in new MRR and the system that tripled meetings

Two years at CoPilot AI, a Vancouver company whose platform books qualified sales meetings on LinkedIn.

The system I engineered for the sales floor. Rep LinkedIn profiles were flat, and meetings came almost entirely from outbound. I designed an automated posting plan the team could run without thinking: fixed cadence, formats buyers engaged with, a schedule per rep. Result: 4 to 6 qualified meetings per rep per month became 12 to 16 for reps on the strategy. Inbound compounds; cold outreach restarts at zero every Monday.

Same playbook, my own profile. Both charts come straight from my LinkedIn analytics export. The impressions window is February through June 2026, while the posting plan ran.
